Ruskington Garden Centre is based in a range of 18th century farm buildings constructed in the early 1700’s. The Garden Centre was started as a farm diversification by the Elkington family, who still farm in the Ruskington area of Lincolnshire and run the Garden Centre with a dedicated team of staff.
In 2003 we decided that we had to move into the 21st century and completely revamped the garden centre. We tried to do this sympathetically mixing the new with the old which we have achieved.
One of the main criteria when designing the expansion was that it should be 100% wheelchair friendly and we have achieved this by having the site all on one level. We also provide wheelchairs for those who need them.
